How are y'all doing? having fun I hope. I did. My family and I had so much fun just hanging out, went to the mall, did some shopping and I even tried on this really AWESOME Christian Loubotin shoes. *sigh* too bad I can't afford it. I put it on my Christmas list! and hoping Santa will bring me that as a surprise. Now I am watching "Covert affairs" while writing my blog. awesomeness!! and I am having such a huge crush on Christoper Gorham and Piper Perabo. *sigh* ok ok got sidetrack here...sorry. Let's get back to the main topic here.
I want to show you guys this gorgeous palette from Too Faced. It is called the Sweet Dream palette. This palette is one of my favorite palette ever. It is just so pretty with all the combination of beautiful colors. This palette was the 2011 Holiday edition palette so it is not available anymore at Sephora or Too Faced website.
This is what the palette look like:
Gorgeous right? just look at it. I love how the girl is on a swan hot air balloon. Butterflies, flowers, ahhh it really is a sweet dream. Sorry for the glare but the letter supposed to read Too Faced.
Now let's take a look at the inside of the palette shall we?
Ta Da! Gorgeous don't you think? The eye shadow, blushes, bronzer and highlight and 3 cards to help you create 3 different looks. How cool is that? Those cards really do help when you want to be quick and can't think of what colors to use.
I just love it. It has a big mirror inside so you do not have to worry about having a hard time putting on your make up to create the looks that you want.
Take a closer look of the eye shadows:
I mean just look at that. It has all the colors to create endless look from natural, smoky, dramatic, and sultry.
Hmm what can you find under those gorgeous colors of eyeshadows? The bronzer, blushes, highlight and the 3 cards tutorial hiding. Tee Hee! Fun palette right?
The sultry swan look.
The day dreamer look.
The dancing sugar plums look.
These cards are truly so helpful for those who are new to makeup and wanting to learn how to create different looks but yet not complicated. Easy and simple yet looking stunning at the same time.
It also comes with their famous full size eye primer, shadow insurance.
Now let's see some swatches shall we?
I put the same picture so it is easier to see the swatches and not have to scroll back up.
So I will do it according to the picture to my left of course. From left to right:
lovey dovey, teddy bear, copper peony, peach fuzz and in the buff
From left to right:
Smolder, nice ash, party girl (It is not glittery, I think I just touch it too much with my finger) , cut the cake, satin sheets.
From left to right:
First dance, cop a teal, nice stems!, label whore, honeymoon.
Now onto the bottom drawer.
From bottom right counter clockwork:
Sweet pink, cocoa rose, chocolate soleil (awesome bronzer and it smells like chocolate!), candlelight glow.
Here is the look I did from one of the card: Sultry Swan.
I really really love this look because it is so simple and easy to do. The tutorial card is truly super helpful in this part. I am so loving it.
Here is a closer look of the eye.
Ok I add this picture only because I love how you can see the look from above view.
Oh and you can actually see how I pull this look on one of my Youtube video about my beauty haul. The video is below.
Overall, in conclusion, I truly love this palette. This is the first Too Faced palette I have ever gotten and now that I have this, I don't think I will stop. If Too Faced designs another palette for 2012 holiday edition which I am positive they will, I will definitely buy it. I think this palette truly worth the money to get which I believe I bought it for $52 at Sephora.
Well that is all for now. I am so tired my brain is done working lol. Just want to finally say: Thank you for visiting. :)
