TOKIDOKI brushes

Hello!

Do you like cartoon characters? If you do, then  you need to get these brushes.  This is Tokidoki and let me tell you a little bit about the company.  Tokidoki means "sometimes" in Japanese.  The person who started drawing this beautiful cartoon characters is called Simon Legno.  The characters he drew are so attractive and interesting.  This is what he said about tokidoki:

"tokidoki is the hope, the hidden energy that everyone has inside, It gives us the strength to face a new day and dream about something positive and the hope that something magical will happen to us."
Simone Legno, taken from tokidoki website, here is the LINK to it.

I love Tokidoki.  It reminds of Hello Kitty a lot.  Growing up as a girl in Indonesia, I am definitely exposed to  hello kitty.  In Asia, Hello Kitty is loved by so many girls, women and mothers.  When I came to the US, I don't get to see all that and then one fine day, while visiting Sephora, I saw something that really reminds me of Hello Kitty but edgier.  It immediately caught my attention and I have been one of Tokidoki fans ever since.

Well Tokidoki is leaving sephora so their cosmetic collections are on sale at sephora stores everywhere and online.  I got these brushes way before it went on sale but I bought it on a bargain anyway so it didn't really matter.  However for those of you who loves cartoon characters and brushes, this is definitely a good deal.

First, let me show you these collection of Pittura brush set: blending, eyeliner and crease brushes.  It is so cute and pretty.

This is how it looks like.  Isn't the packaging cute? I have a love/hate relationship with clear packaging.  I love how you can see clearly what you are buying, totally awesome on that however I just always find that plastic packaging makes product looks cheap even though they are not and it is such a pain the butt when you try to take the product out and accidentally cut yourself while doing so.  It sucks!

Clearly, I am just trying to show you what it said on the packaging.  Love those vampire lips.

Here is the back view.  It shows you the characters' picture and what the brushes are for.

A closer look of the character's brush description and its purpose.

What it looks like after I took it out of the package.  It is too pretty, I have a hard time taking it out because I feel like I am going to ruin it.  It is just too damn cute!

I present you Adios Amigos!  Use him as a blending brush.
.

Hello ladies.  I am Adios Amigos.  What yours? lol I love the look of the tokidoki logo on his hat.

The brush is designed with a black tip to match Adios.

Now I present you, Donutella! Miss I have donuts bun on my head and it looks so cute on her.
Use her to do your eyeliner or eyebrow.

A closer look of miss donutella.  Aren't those buns just look so delicious? and look at the tokidoki logo on her hair.  It looks like a pin for her hair right? So pretty.  Not to mention those smiles is a killer.

The pink tip of course is put to match Donutella.  pretty don't you think?

Last but not least, Mozzarella.  He is so cute. Use him as an eyeshadow brush.

I just have to show you the back of it.  I like it so much.

Isn't he just so cool looking? Love the blue hair.

The blue tip to match the cool mozzarella.

Now let's move on to the Pittura Blush brush.

Pretty packaging right.  Yes I am a sucker for pretty packaging.

Gorgeous, don't you think?
This is Miss Siberia.

Side view on the angled brush.

Don't you agree that she is just gorgeous. I love that tokidoki logo on her crown and ears.  Oh and that love pattern on her cheek.  Oh I can just go on and on.

The pink tip to match Siberia's color of course.

So what do you think? I love these brushes, they work well.  They pick up products well and blends amazingly.  However, when I first opened it, I have a hard time to want to use the brushes.  I feel like they are just so pretty and I just want to put them on display.
One thing about these brushes that some of you may want to know is that it can feel heavy because of the character's head so it will take a little bit of time adjusting from the regular brush to tokidoki brush only because the head gives a little bit more weight.  Once you adjusted, you should be find.  It didn't take me long to adjust and I love the result the brushes deliver.  I think it is just personal opinion but if you want to see what others say regarding to these brushes, you can visit this Sephora link directly and read what they say.

I love these brushes however I don't use them as much as I do because as I said earlier, I have a hard time because I just want them to stay on display.  LOL yea I know silly me.  I will try to use them more often.
Also, these brushes are right now on sale, though I don't know if it is still available online.  The pittura brush set is still available online last I checked but they go out fast so be sure to grab them if you like them because once these brushes are gone, they are gone for good.  Sephora will no longer carry the lines.

Well that is all for now.  Another thing that I want to mention is that the pittura brush set will be put as one of my giveaway items to get so be sure to be on the lookout for my giveaways that will be held soon.  No I am not giving away my pittura brush set lol, I bought extra to let someone out there to enjoy these brushes as much as I do.

What do you all think about these brushes? Do you like them? or maybe you don't.  I want to know your opinions so pls share it on comments below and thank you for visiting.
