Sally Hansen Real Nail Polish Strips

Hi everybody!

Today I am going to talk about an awesome product called Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips.  It is amazing and very easy to apply.  This works perfectly when you have those party where you don't have much time to do your nail.  This literally only took me 15 minutes to apply and it took me that long only because I want to make sure I put it on perfectly. Trust me when I say you can have it done in 10 mins.  I did before.  No drying needed and once it is on your fingers, it stays.

This is how it looks like when you first purchase it.

Cute right!! I believe this strips is part of the limited edition for Valentine but hey love is always around us so why not wear it. Not just for valentine but for everyday wear.  It is lovely and it makes people smile.  It makes me smile. I love it. :)

When you open the box, the strips come in 2 packages that look as pictured.  I only open one because one is all I need to do my nails since it is short nails and not long nails.  If you have long nails then you will need both packages opened.

This is how the pinky strip looks like.

The package also comes with the mini nail files and buffer as well as mini cuticle stick.

and of course the instruction manual.

Now moving on to how to put this nail strip.  This is how the instruction tells you to do:
- Start with a clean, dry nails.
- Push back cuticles with wooden stick.
- Shape free edge of nail with hot pink side of file.
- Gently smooth surface of nails with white side of file.
- Give nails one last swipe of nail color remover to remove any excess dirt and oil. (This step is extremely important as it helps your manicure to last longer.)  Ensure there is no creamy or oil residue left behind.

When you open the package, the strips will come in different size.  Find the one where it matches the size of your finger.  Don't peel the back lining until you are sure that that particular strip will fit into the finger that you want it to be.

After you find the one that fits your finger, place strip against cuticle line.  Hold strip at the center for maximum hold.  Remove the clear protective plastic cover.  If you have short nail, do not remove the backing paper as this to protect the leftover strip so you can put it on the next finger without touching the nail strip.
Smooth excess over nail edge, forming a crease around the edge of the nail.  Gently file away excess from nail edge using light pink side of file.

I only file a little bit so I can pull it out and gently put the leftover strip in a safe area so when I finish with filing the excess from this nail, I will then continue putting the rest into the other fingernail.

If this is how your strip looks like after you put it on, no worries!

Simply use your nail cuticle to gently strips away the excess from your nail.

Repeat all this steps with the rest of your nails.

Now for the final result!!

TA DA!!

Pretty right!
Sorry about the side view but you can still see everything.  I tried to change it but unfortunately I couldn't do it.

Well I just love how it looks.

Then as I said earlier, it took me longer to do this nails only because I added a little more fun to it.  I add some colors to the nail strips. :) I love how it turned out.

What do you guys think? Leave me a comment on how you like this.  With or without colors?

Well that is it for now.  I hope you all like it.  I do and I had fun doing it.  Please leave a comment below on how I can improve my blog or what you want to see.  Thanks for visiting!!
